Michael, a native of Fredericksburg, VA, received his Bachelor of Architecture with minors in Urban Planning and Environmental Policy/Sustainability from Virginia Tech. While at Virginia Tech, Michael participated in the Design/BuildLAB with the award-winning Smith Creek Pedestrian Bridge project. He also was recognized with the architizer A+ award Architecture + Urban Transformation for in 2014.
His work experience before relocating to Nashville developed his understanding of construction documentation for a range of projects including commercial, educational, healthcare, civic and residential projects. He also has experience with construction administration and has conducted historic preservation research.
At the Workshop, Michael assists the project team with design development and construction documentation for a range of project types. He is also involved in the development and coordination of interior design for in-house projects.
